Canadian Election

I can't believe this happened, it is going to be a terrible four years I am already depressed. I am happy about the NDP though, congrats to them for gaining 70 odd seats. The Liberals took a HUGE hit, it will be interesting to see what happens there.

Gayest/Best Week in TV EVER?!
Mar. 11th, 2011 10:04 pmSo this week has been a great week for lesbians. Pretty Little Liars, Glee and Skins.
First off we have Pretty Little Liars with the lovely Paige and Emily. Paige's talk with Emily at Emily's was nothing short of perfect. "If I say it out loud, if I say 'I'm gay' it will change everything" The scene was very well done and Lindsey Shaw did a great job at portraying all those emotions.

Next we have Brittana on Glee. The expression "Having your heart ripped out and stomped on" does even begin to cover how I feel about this episode. Yet this is still my favourite episode ever. The song Landslide that Brittana and Holy sang, the one that SANTANA picked! Pretty sure I cried.
Followed up by this scene:
After that I was a mess. It is just not fair! I still can't process. Naya deserves an Emmy or something.
Finally we have Skins. While not just having some awesome lady love, having one of the first Pansexual characters on TV. This week we got a lovely dose of Minky.
I really hope those two get together soon!!! The scenes for these two in the next episode are going to be intense I can't wait.
On an equally awesome but much less queer note we have FRINGE!!!!!

Los hombres de Paco
Feb. 27th, 2011 04:54 pmSo I just finished watching the season 8 finale.....I balled my eyes out. Who ever wrote that episode needs to be fired. But since the show has ended, they shouldn't be allowed to write anything again ever!
I am not sure what to think about everything. I watch a subbed PepSi compilation and I loved it. Not just them but everyone. I really like all of the characters, they where funny and interesting. I just don't understand why they ended season 8 the way they did. I hated it so much. I don't even see a point in watching season 9. Ok so I am going to go curl up in a ball and cry some more now.

Friday Night
Feb. 5th, 2011 11:39 amSo last night just blew my mind. Let me first set the scene for you. I am visiting family this weekend. Where I am staying has great company, but terrible internet and cable. Ok stage has been set now onto the awesomeness that was Friday.
First off I missed watching Smallville live, didn't have the station. As such I had to wait til the links went up in order to watch. The links finally up, forgetting the crappiness of the internet I assumed I would be able to watch in about 5 mins. I had my hopes dashed. I ended up waiting over an hour.
Mean while I was able to watch Fringe live(watch Fringe live do it!!) Solid episode (no pun intended XD) and ANNA TROV!!!! Love her.
Now back to Smallville. I should preface this with the fact that Chloe is my favourite character and I was so pissed that she wasn't around for the entire final season.

Ok so after Smallville I decide to turn in it is now 2am. I should also let you know that in the past 48hrs I have had 2hrs of sleep. I am upstairs getting into bed when I need light. I use my phone, a poor choice in hindsight; see I check my screen and saw THIS on tumblr!

Overall this was an excellent Friday.

Bus ride from hell.
Jan. 17th, 2011 04:29 pmSo this is the first post of the new year yay! I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year.
Now onto this bus ride. So what should have been a 2 minute ride turned into one of over an hour. Firstly I ended up on the wrong bus. This just happened to be the bus that goes around the entire perimeter of the city D: Now 20 minutes into my lovely tour the bus breaks down. Luckily the driver after 5 minutes or so was able to restart the bus. Thank god because it is -20 degrees not counting the wind chill. So we can now go back on our merry way. The worst part about this trip was the fact that the driver was terrible. With all the sudden stops and accelerations I am fairly certain I now have a lower back problem. I get to a street close enough to my apartment after my tour around the city that I jump ship in order to not spend anymore time on the bus than necessary. All in all it was a painful experience, but I know I wont make this mistake again anytime soon XD

I loved it. I give it a 8.75/10. The only reason it isn't a 9 is that the ending was sort of abrupt. The FX on this movie are insane, and the soundtrack is made by Daft Punk....need I say more?
I also think they did a pretty solid job of tying in the old film to the new. So that this movie would work effectively as a stand alone. But at the same time gave throw backs to the old film. The closest example would be the new Star Trek movie. You didn't need to know anything about Star Trek to watch it, but at the same time if you did you got a little something extra. However either way it was still enjoyable.
